Christiana Kosiari is a Greek dance artist, choreographer, and teacher based in Athens. She graduated from the State School of Dance in 2012, holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business (2008), and completed her secondary education at Leonteios School of Nea Smyrni (2004).

Between 2021 and 2023, she participated in the U(R)TOPIAS Academy of Choreography in Elefsina, within the framework of Elefsina 2023 – European Capital of Culture, where she created and presented the works Bouboulina, Bouboulina’s, and Bouboulines, developed with performers over the age of 65.

Her solo work RUNWAY premiered at Onassis Dance Days 2024 and was subsequently presented at Credixa / Anima Fluo (Bologna), Under the Radar Festival (New York), Theater Amalia (Thessaloniki), Derida Dance Festival (Bulgaria), Moving Balkans Platform (Slovenia), and TanzPlatz Festival (Serbia).

Her choreographic work Chained was presented at Arc for Dance Festival 15, Dance Laboratory Rhodes 7, Patras Art Festival 3, and Masdanza Dance Festival 28, where it received the Jury’s Second Prize.

She has also created the video dance works Sink and Bouboulina, which have been presented at festivals in Greece and internationally.

In July 2025, she was selected as a resident artist at the Watermill Center (Robert Wilson) in New York, where she initiated the research and development of her new project UnPhobia, a dance work integrating choreography and artificial intelligence. She will continue the development of UnPhobia during her residency at Onassis AiR, Onassis Stegi (Athens, February–April 2026), culminating in an open showing.

As a performer, she has collaborated with Romeo Castellucci in MA and toured internationally with Lamenta by Siamese Dance Company (2021–2023). She has attended numerous workshops in Greece and abroad and has been teaching ballet, modern, and contemporary dance since 2007 to students of all ages.
