Choreographer and dancer from Extremadura, based in Barcelona.

In 2018 Paloma Muñoz starts her own company project under the name SIBERIA from where she develops her own unique language based in physicality, shape, irony, sweat, sound, color and perception.

Her works have toured in Spain, Sweden, (DanceNet Sweden) Switzerland (Tanzplattform Bern) and Portugal (Quinzena de la Dança de Almada); and have been awarded with several prices and recognitions (Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid, CICC Copenhagen International Choreography Competition, or the Bern Dance Award in 2022).

She also works as a freelance choreographer invited by different companies in Europe including Tanz Bielefeld, Theater Münster and TanzLabor Ulm (Germany), Ballet Bern (Switzerland), or D.A.F. Dance Arts Faculty (Italy).

Her practice expands to the participation in audiovisual and film projects, site-specific creation, and the training of professionals collaborating with the Institut del Teatre, Caixaforum or Castell de Montjuic to mention a few.
